This project required extensive groundwork and structural preparation. Our team began by setting timber stumps in concrete footings and constructing a robust timber sub-frame, ensuring everything was built to last. We paid close attention to drainage, installing new agricultural lines (ag pipe), stormwater connections, and laying down heavy-duty weed matting before the decking went down.
Key Features of the Project:
- Premium Composite Decking: We installed beautiful, low-maintenance composite decking throughout the backyard. This includes a spacious main area, a long poolside walkway for safe access to the water, and a custom-built, built-in bench seat nestled against the original brickwork—the perfect spot for entertaining.
- Large Format Tiling: Seamlessly blending with the deck, we laid a stunning large-format tiled patio area. Featuring a light wood-grain pattern, this space is finished with a sleek stainless steel channel drain to keep the area water-free.
- Retaining Walls & Landscaping: To manage the sloping terrain and create defined garden beds, we constructed durable concrete block retaining walls and timber sleeper walls.
